Dota 2 Tier List

Dota 2 Tier List: All Heroes Ranked for 2021

As one of the most popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) games, Dota 2 has gained a massive following since its release in 2013. With a roster of over 100 heroes, each with unique abilities and playstyles, it can be difficult to know which hero to choose in each game. That’s why we’ve put together this Dota 2 tier list, ranking all heroes from best to worst based on their effectiveness in the current meta.

Tier S – The Best Heroes

In this tier, we have the most powerful heroes that are a must-pick in almost every game.

  1. Monkey King: With his versatility and strong laning presence, Monkey King is one of the strongest heroes in Dota 2 right now. He can take on any role in a game and is especially effective in the offlane position.
  2. Mars: Another versatile hero, Mars is great in almost any position. He has a strong early game presence and can deal significant damage while also providing valuable crowd control for his team.
  3. Spectre: A late-game powerhouse, Spectre has the ability to dominate games if given enough time to farm. She is especially effective when played in the carry position.
  4. Puck: A popular pick in the mid lane, Puck is incredibly mobile and can dodge spells and attacks with ease. With the right items and playstyle, Puck can take over games and control the pace of the match.

Tier A – Strong Heroes

These heroes are not as overpowered as the Tier S heroes, but they are still very strong and effective in most games.

  1. Templar Assassin: With her high damage output and mobility, Templar Assassin is a great pick in the mid lane. She can also transition into the carry role later in the game.
  2. Lina: Another strong mid laner, Lina has a powerful ultimate ability that can quickly eliminate enemy heroes. She also has strong farming capabilities, making her a good choice in the carry role.
  3. Venomancer: A popular offlaner, Venomancer has strong early game presence and can deal significant damage over time with his abilities. He can also push lanes and provide valuable vision for his team.
  4. Gyrocopter: A versatile carry hero, Gyrocopter has the ability to deal significant damage in team fights while also being able to push lanes and farm quickly.

Tier B – Balanced Heroes

These heroes are balanced and effective in the right hands, but they may not be as strong as Tier A or S heroes.

  1. Crystal Maiden: A popular support hero, Crystal Maiden has valuable crowd control abilities and can also provide mana regeneration for her team.
  2. Legion Commander: A strong offlaner, Legion Commander has the ability to win duels and gain bonus damage for her team. She can also push lanes and farm quickly if given the opportunity.
  3. Chaos Knight: A versatile carry hero, Chaos Knight has the ability to create illusions and deal significant damage in team fights. He can also split push and farm quickly if needed.
  4. Earthshaker: A popular support hero, Earthshaker has powerful crowd control abilities and can deal significant damage with his ultimate ability. He is especially effective in team fights.

Tier C – Weak Heroes

These heroes may have some situational use, but they are generally not as effective as other heroes in the current meta.

  1. Riki: A popular pick in lower ranks, Riki is not as effective in higher level play. He is easily countered and has limited usefulness in team fights.
  2. Sniper: While he has long range and high damage output, Sniper is easily countered and can be taken down quickly in team fights.
