Pixel 6 series seems to get Pixel 7’s Clear Calling, Guided Frame, and more

The Pixel 6 series will get Clear Calling, Guided Frame, and other Pixel 7 features. It appears that the Clear Calling and Guided Frame capabilities, along with other improvements introduced with the Pixel 7, will make their way into the Pixel 6 series. Both the hardware and software of Google's newest smartphones have been improved, and Google has apparently confirmed that some of the new software tricks will be brought back to the Pixel 6 series in future updates. It appears that Google has confirmed to the folks at PhoneArena that several features introduced in the Pixel 7 will be rolled out to the Pixel 6 series in upcoming Feature Drop updates. What is expected to grow? Clear Calling is coming to the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, and 6a, as well as all other Pixel devices that use Tensor. Like Google Meet and other video calling services of late, Clear Calling, which was announced alongside the Pixel 7, can enhance the quality of phone calls by eliminating background noise. In addition, the ability to mute an incoming call simply by saying "silence" will be made available for these older models without the need for a hotword. With the help of Google's AI focus on its chips, "Guided Frame" will soon be available on all Tensor-powered Pixel phones, making it easier for visually impaired users to take selfies. Real Tone, a feature that improves the accuracy of pictures containing people of color, is also coming to older phones. Google also announced that older Pixel phones will receive Audio Message Transcription and new At A Glance features that are less reliant on the Tensor chip for displaying additional flight information and other useful data. At this time, it appears that Google will not be updating the Pixel 6 to include Face Unlock, which was introduced with the Pixel 7. Caschys Blog was told by a Google representative in Germany that face unlock would not be coming to the Pixel 6, despite our reporting on the feature's extensive development for last year's phones.

Apparently, the Clear Calling and Guided Frame capabilities, along with other improvements introduced with the Pixel 7, will make their way to the Pixel 6 series as well.
